Editor: The Senate had originally been scheduled to vote on the health care bill late Christmas Eve, the vote being delayed as long as possible by the Senate Republicans. But when it was learned that a snowstorm was coming, the GOP caved and agreed to hold the vote early so as to get out of town before the coming blizzard.
